Today . . . I am thinking about Luciano Pavarotti.
It wasn't but two months ago that the music world mourned the loss of another opera great, Beverly Sills.
I am stunned. I wonder, who will be the third?
Here is my tribute to Luciano Pavarotti. In this 4 minute video we see him singing "Nessun dorma" from the final act of Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot. He is conducted by one of my all time favorite conductors, Zubin Mehta. This video is stunning, moving, and a fitting farewell as 'nessun dorma' means "no one will sleep."
Enjoy.
Then share you thought, memory, or personal experience with one of this centuries greatest tenors.

Thank you, just what the inner spirit needed today. Beautiful.
