Love her or hate her, Hillary Clinton is focus, confident, and sure.
In this interview with Katie Couric, Hillary is asked:
"If it's not you, how disappointed will you be?" Couric asked.
“Well, it will be me,” she said.
But she said she would stand behind any other Democratic nominee, if it came to that. “We're going to have unified party, behind whoever we nominate.”
Clearly, she has considered the possibility she won't be the nominee?
"No, I haven't," Clinton said.

I love Hillary's confidence. I love that she considers only one outcome - success. I love that she conveys her thoughts so positively and eloquently. I love that she knows healthcare reform is an urgent issue. I choose to believe this country will finally put someone in the White House who can effect positive change for us, and the world. Who will it be?

I admire her confidence, too, and her success mindset is really amazing. I think many people in the US are focused on these elections and are wanting change. Change in the economy, healthcare, and our foreign involvement. Who will "it" be, indeed. Not who will "he" be. For the first time in US history, it is possible to consider, will "she" be? That's nice!

Hillary definitely does know her Inner Samurai. I also saw her in another interview with Katie Couric last week. Katie asked her how she felt when she woke up on Primary Day in New Hampshire, knowing people were predicting she would face another loss there. Hillary replied that she felt fine because "something inside" told her she would win!

Indeed, Mary Ellen, that "something inside" is Hilary's Inner Samurai. It's that deep and true knowing that shines forth, even in the face of unbelievable odds. Thanks for this addition to our discussion.
